How to use the code finder
Enter the complete marking from the cell or battery compartment. Case, spaces, hyphens and punctuation are normalised, so “SR 626 SW” can resolve to the same supported lookup as SR626SW. Use the printed code rather than a colour, package shape or device type.
What the result means
A result resolves an evidence-backed alias to one canonical record. For example, A76 and AG13 resolve to the LR44 alkaline family; 357 resolves to the separate SR44W silver-oxide family. An exact code match is an identity answer, not a guarantee that a different family is safe or suitable for the device.
Limits and next checks
“No supported record” means the catalogue does not have enough approved evidence for that marking; it does not mean the code is invalid. Check the full label and compare dimensions, nominal voltage, chemistry and drain requirements before substitution. Read How battery codes work or browse the code and alias index.
