Battery Codebook offers optional, consent-controlled audience measurement while keeping finder and comparison inputs out of analytics.
Finder and comparison inputs
Battery codes, measurements, comparison selections and other tool entries are processed in the browser. They are not deliberately sent to Google Analytics, included in analytics event parameters or retained as an account history.
Infrastructure processing
Maple Web Group operates Battery Codebook. Cloudflare delivers the site and may process standard request and security data so pages can be served reliably, abuse can be limited and technical incidents can be investigated. Battery Codebook does not provide user accounts or host a contact form.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics 4 loads through Google Tag Manager only after a visitor selects “Accept analytics”. Its purpose is limited to understanding aggregate page use. The configured stream records standard page views only; enhanced measurement, Google Signals, user-provided data and advertising personalisation are disabled.
When accepted, Google may process first-party online identifiers, browser and device information, the page path, approximate location derived from network information and technical event information. Query strings and referrer URLs are withheld from the configured page-view payload to reduce the risk of transmitting identifying URL content. Advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation remain denied.
Consent and withdrawal
Analytics is denied by default. Declining does not limit the site. Battery Codebook stores the analytics choice locally in the browser so it can be respected on later visits. The persistent “Privacy choices” control in the footer reopens the choice at any time. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics collection on that page, removes applicable Google Analytics cookies that the site can access, and prevents the Google tag loading on later pages.
Outbound correction form
Battery Codebook does not host a form. Following the correction link opens Maple Web Group’s separate website, where the submitted details are governed by that site’s privacy information and form controls.
Battery Codebook does not sell personal information, build user profiles, maintain user accounts or retain a history of code-finder, size-finder or comparison selections. It does not use Google Ads, AdSense, affiliate tracking or personalised advertising.
Retention, processors and transfers
Cloudflare delivers the public site and may retain request and security logs under its service controls. Consented Google Analytics event and user data use a 14-month property retention setting; aggregate reporting may remain available for longer. Maple Web Group receives correction submissions through its separate public form and retains them only as needed to answer, investigate or document a correction, meet security needs or comply with applicable obligations. Cloudflare and Google may process data outside your country under their applicable contractual and legal safeguards.
Your choices and enquiries
Do not submit information that is unnecessary for the enquiry. You may ask Maple Web Group about access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection rights that apply to your contact data by using the confirmed contact route. You may also complain to the data-protection authority available to you. Reasonable security measures are used, but no internet service can promise absolute security. Material changes will appear on this page with a revised review date.
